Aigle, capital of the Chablais district of the Vaud region, is a tourist crossroads. Its numerous rail lines serve the ski resorts of the Vaud and Valais Alps, as well as the Simplon line. Roads and motorways are nearby. The region is also renowned for its vineyards, castles and climate. For many years now, numerous companies have been setting up in Aigle, giving the whole region a significant boost.
