It was the President of the former South Africa, Paul Kruger who made the Villa famous by using it as his main residence in Switzerland during the year 1904 and it is in his honor that Villa is called Villa Kruger.
This magnificent property built between 1874 and 1879 in the town of Montreux by two renowned architects. Originally rental and intended for the private vacation of very wealthy people who did not wish to mingle with the clientele of large hotels.
The Villa is located just 1 hour by car from Geneva and the international airport or the famous Gstaad ski resort. You can enjoy the region all year round as well as the various activities, such as the famous Montreux Jazz Festival or the Montreux Classical Music Festival.
