Description

In an exclusive and privileged setting, the Résidence du National in Montreux offers apartments of the highest standing to a discerning clientele.

A confidential address, intended for a limited number of owners.

Normally consisting of 6.5 rooms, this property has been completely redesigned and transformed by its former owners, with the help of renowned interior designer Richard Ferbach.

(A remarkable article is actually dedicated to him in TELL magazine, 2011 edition.)

The Italian painters commissioned by the architect have done an exceptional job. Frescoes, naiads and vestals adorn the walls and furniture in every room. Sumptuous!

The centerpiece is a spectacular open hearth tiled stove, custom-built by an Italian craftsman to the architect's plans.

The lady of the house wanted a very large bathroom with hammam. Richard Ferbach played with volumes, materials and tones to achieve a striking result. Two mosaics illustrating the bath catch the eye: each piece was hand-cut, one by one, to faithfully follow the design - a far cry from classic industrial tiles. Incredible!

Frescoes and a vaulted ceiling give this room a bluffing impression of space and grandeur.

The master bedroom, a true haven of peace, opens onto a vast terrace. It features two large picture windows framing an elegant hand-painted dressing table.

At the foot of the 240 cm bed, a Ferbach-designed multifunctional cabinet conceals a retractable, remote-controlled television.

In the guest rooms, walls and floors are clad in worked, moisture-treated leather. The result is simply splendid.

Other surprises await the visitor, such as a corridor evoking Mediterranean gardens thanks to an interplay of mirrors reflecting a captivating fresco.

The apartment offers a weighted surface area of around 219 m², with large atypical living spaces. The 53 sq.m. living room opens onto a 20 sq.m. balcony, boasting panoramic views of Lake Geneva and the mountains.

Thanks to its large south-facing bay windows, there is optimal natural light throughout the day. The apartment is in excellent condition.

its proximity to public transport, shops and its exceptional panorama make it a rare property, offering remarkable living comfort.

By becoming an owner at Le National, you benefit from prestigious communal infrastructures:

a landscaped park, a 350 m² private spa with indoor pool, steam room, sauna, Jacuzzi and fitness room. The "National Lounge" can accommodate up to 150 guests for your private events.
