Situation

The village of Clarens on the shores of Lake Geneva is the commune's most populous, with over a third of Montreux's inhabitants living here (34%).

With the Salle omnisports du Pierrier on its territory, Clarens hosts competitions of national and international importance, such as the Montreux Volley Masters, the Rink Hockey Nations Cup and the Basketball League Cup finals.

Clarens is also the place to be for lake and water sports. Lovers of swimming will find what they're looking for at the Pierrier beach or at the Clarens baths. For those who prefer the pool, La Maladaire welcomes them in summer and winter alike (two outdoor and two indoor pools are available)
